RentNTaiwan does not currently intend to copy and republish personal contact information from external property websites simply because that information is publicly visible.
Any future collection or use of personal information obtained from external or public sources will be reviewed before implementation. This matters especially for future external-listing features.

10. International Data Processing
RentNTaiwan currently runs on Firebase (Google LLC), which may process and store information on servers located outside Taiwan.
Any additional providers selected later that process information outside Taiwan will be added to this section.
11. How Long We Keep Information
RentNTaiwan does not retain personal information indefinitely without a legitimate reason. Retention depends on what the information is, why it was collected, security and operational needs, and applicable legal requirements.
Initial retention periods are set out below. Information may be retained longer than these periods where reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation, investigate fraud or a security incident, resolve a dispute, or enforce our Terms of Use.

We cannot promise immediate deletion in every circumstance, because some information may need to be retained for legitimate or legal reasons.
13. Marketing
RentNTaiwan will not automatically subscribe someone to promotional email simply because they contact us, submit feedback, suggest a guide or report incorrect information.
If newsletters, alerts or marketing communications are introduced later, enrollment choices will be clearly presented, with a reasonable way to unsubscribe or object.

RentNTaiwan aims to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it holds — for example HTTPS, secure authentication, access controls, limited administrator access, secure credential handling, backups, logging, monitoring and input validation.
The website is still in development. Server-side authentication, storage and related security controls are not yet implemented, so no claim is made here that they are already in place. This section will be updated to describe the controls actually deployed before launch.

If RentNTaiwan becomes aware of unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, alteration or another incident involving personal information, the issue will be investigated and reasonable steps taken to:

RentNTaiwan links to services and websites we do not operate — for example Google Maps, government websites, transportation providers, external property sources, businesses and universities.
Those websites have their own privacy practices. This policy does not control what happens after someone leaves RentNTaiwan.

RentNTaiwan is not designed as a service specifically directed toward children, and does not intentionally request unnecessary personal information from children.
If future account, listing or community features create age-related requirements, this section will be reviewed and updated before those features launch.
18. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as RentNTaiwan changes, new features launch, service providers change, data practices change or legal obligations change.
The current effective date and last updated date are always displayed at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another reasonable method.
